Long Time Coming

This factoid from the AP writeup of tonight's Iowa/OSU basketball game struck me as incredibly unlikely:

The Buckeyes are 3-0 in the Big Ten for the first time since winning their first seven conference games in 1991.

It seems like even a perennially bad team ought to be able to string three wins together at the beginning of conference play once in seventeen years. But maybe there were one or two seasons that don't count from the heavily tainted Jim O'Brien era.

Worlds of Fragments

It's 2008, and though I haven't watched any movies yet, the film blog is open for business. The title there is Godardian, as is the subtitle here up above. So far it's been populated with the 77 new or unreleased films I watched last year, backdated more or less accurately.
